- The address will be mailed in confirmation emails when you sign up.
- Meeting time is 9 am. Roll out by 9:30 am.
- Belleau Wood is a 38 acre private property located in Rutland, MA. There is a long driveway with a Marine flag at the end marking it. Traffic on the driveway is two way so please drive carefully
- The bulk of the property is green and blue with multiple optional black and red trails and ledges. The map attendees will receive is a work in progress and will be continuously updated. It is partially color coded and will be updated as needed.
- Trailer parking is available around and behind the landowners barn. Parking for 10+ trailers in this location and potential for more if needed.
- Our club will be collecting a $20 CASH ONLY per rig dues assessment we will donate to the landowner.
- There will be a waiver onsite that will need to be signed by EVERY person taking part in a trail ride in addition to our club waiver.
- The barn onsite has an air compressor for airing back up at the end of the day if you need it.
- Don't forget cameras, lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, proper attire for the weather, protection from bugs and ticks and/or other seasonal concerns.
Massachusetts OHV Registrations:
Massachusetts laws, Chapter 90b, require vehicles operated for recreation off-road or on unimproved roads, on public and private property, to be registered as an ATV through the Massachusetts Environmental Police Bureau of Registrations.
Mohawk 4x4 Adventures does not require members to have this completed to participate at this time, but we do highly recommend it. You may be subject to tickets by law enforcement without it and could be ticketed. This is your responsibility to be legal when off-roading in Massachusetts.
Registration is easy to complete by mail, as long as your rig meets the requirement of a valid street registration in your home state. Some registrations require an exemption of sales tax form is submitted along with your vehicle registration. This just proves that you have paid sales tax if it was required and the vehicle is not stolen. Our club does require proper registration in your state, so it should be a straightforward process for members to register 4WD vehicles used in the club.
You receive two decals for your vehicle with your registration number, one expiration date, and a card you must carry with you that is your permit.
